What's Covered
The Apple MacBook warranty covers these issues under normal use conditions:
- Manufacturing defects in display, keyboard, or trackpad
- Battery defects (retains less than 80% capacity within warranty)
- Logic board failures
- Port and connector defects
- Built-in speaker or microphone failures
What's NOT Covered
The following are typically excluded from warranty coverage:
- Accidental damage (drops, liquid spills) — unless you have AppleCare+
- Normal battery wear and degradation
- Damage from using incompatible third-party RAM or storage
- Cosmetic damage that doesn't impair functionality
- Damage from unauthorized repairs

- Visit checkcoverage.apple.com with your serial number
- Click Apple Menu → About This Mac to find your serial number
- Check via the Apple Support app on any Apple device
- Contact Apple Support for warranty verification
