What's Covered
The HP HP Printer warranty covers these issues under normal use conditions:
- Print head defects
- Paper feed mechanism failures
- Scanner component failures (for all-in-one models)

What's NOT Covered
The following are typically excluded from warranty coverage:
- Ink or toner cartridge issues (covered under separate cartridge warranty)
- Damage from using non-HP cartridges (contested — may still be covered by law)
- Paper jams caused by incorrect paper type
- Software driver issues
- Normal wear of rollers and pads
