What's Covered
The Lenovo ThinkPad warranty covers these issues under normal use conditions:
- Hardware defects in screen, keyboard, and TrackPoint
- Motherboard and processor failures
- Battery defects (not normal degradation)
- Hinge and chassis manufacturing defects
- Docking station compatibility issues (if Lenovo dock)
What's NOT Covered
The following are typically excluded from warranty coverage:
- Accidental damage (unless ADP add-on purchased)
- Battery wear from normal charge cycles
- Software issues and OS problems
- Damage from unauthorized modifications
- Cosmetic wear
