What's Covered
The Microsoft Xbox warranty covers these issues under normal use conditions:
- Console hardware defects
- Controller manufacturing defects (90 days standard)
- Disc drive failures
- HDMI output defects
- Power supply failures
- Fan and cooling system defects
What's NOT Covered
The following are typically excluded from warranty coverage:
- Physical damage from drops or impacts
- Overheating from blocked ventilation
- Damage from power surges
- Software and game issues
- Accessories damaged by misuse

- Visit account.microsoft.com/devices
- Check warranty status in Xbox Settings → System → Console Info
- Sign in with your Xbox/Microsoft account
- Contact Xbox Support for warranty details
How to Claim Your Warranty
- Visit support.xbox.com and sign in to submit a service request
- Call Xbox Support at 1-800-469-9269 (US)
- Ship the console to Microsoft (prepaid shipping label provided)
- Microsoft sends a replacement console
- Controller claims: contact support for exchange
