What's Covered
The Samsung Samsung TV warranty covers these issues under normal use conditions:
- Panel defects (dead pixels exceeding Samsung's threshold)
- Backlight failures
- Main board or power supply failures
- Built-in speaker defects
- Remote control defects (within 1 year)
What's NOT Covered
The following are typically excluded from warranty coverage:
- Screen burn-in on OLED models
- Physical damage to the screen or casing
- Image retention from static content
- Issues caused by power surges (use a surge protector)
- Wall mount installation damage
